Remember: IB cares about the PROCESS, so you need to making your thinking process visible to anyone who is assessing your project (through writing or in images).
Students! You must be signed in to your MPS Google Account to view the resources! Access to additional accounts will not be given!
It is tempting to wait until the end of the project and record what you did and when, but you will not earn as high of a score as if you do actually plan ahead.
It is okay if your timeline has to change as you hit obstacles or things go quicker than you expect. Just be sure to record those changes, and why you had to make them in your process journal!
You can use either of the templates below, or simply record your individual deadlines in your agenda/Google Calendar. Be sure that whatever format you use for organizing your own deadlines is documented in Managebac.
This chart can be helpful if you are more visual. The example below just has generic personal project deadlines. You may want to edit these or add additional ones. This format helps you to see how some of your work may overlap as you proceed through the project.
DISCLAIMER: You do need to continue to demonstrate self-management skills throughout the project, especially your growth in your self-management skills.
Be honest when discussing your self-management skills. It is better to be honest about poor skills than to say that your self-management was phenomenal when there is no evidence of it.
