- Think about 1 - 2 different topics/goals that you could do for your personal project. Answer the following questions for each topic:
- What new skills would you learn as a result of doing this topic/goal?
- Why do you think these skills would be challenging for you to learn?
- What interests you about your topic?
- What prior knowledge do you have about this topic/goal?
- Explore how at least two different global contexts could reshape your goal/product idea, by answering the following questions in your process journal.
- Why am I creating this particular product/outcome?
- Why is my product/outcome important not just for me, but for others also?
- How does creating this product/outcome help me develop as a more globally minded citizen?
- Why should myself and others care about the product/outcome I am creating?
- What is your final SMART goal? Use one of the following sentence stems:
- By January, I will learn new skill to be able to create this product to demonstrate global context .
- By January, I will demonstrate global context by learning how to new skill to create product .
- By January, I will learn more about new skill , to be able to reflect on global context and create product.
- What knowledge do you have from different MYP subject groups that will help you complete your Personal Project? Explain how it will help. [Upload the worksheet provided via Google Classroom]
- What is your current achievement level for all of the ATL skills? For each skill, explain why you are at that level, and identify what you can do during your project to improve that ATL skill.
- What research have you completed? How do you know your sources are credible?
- What citation style will you use as you make your bibliography/works cited? Why did you select this citation style?
Remember, you can and should do additional entries than just these prompts!

At a minimum, you should have:

You should document both your Information Literacy Skills and Media Literacy Skills as you complete your research.
Research is skill that you will be continuing to use throughout your Personal Project. Remember, all research you do should be recorded in your process journal and documented correctly!

You will need to select the citation style that is most appropriate to your selected topic.

The outline is intended to support you in writing your paper for Personal Project.
Respond to each of the prompts (most of these answers are already in your process journal!) in complete sentences.
When you have completed your outline, you may upload it to "Project Documents" in your Personal Project Worksheet on Managebac.

The peer review on the right is designed to help you assess your own work as you proceed through the project.
You will be required to complete this in ACP and submit it to your ACP teacher. This will be shared with your supervisor as well!
On the right are the detailed rubrics for Criteria A: Investigating.
You will earn a score of 0 - 8 based on the evidence provided for each strand of the rubric. Be sure to address each component in your paper outline!
While your scores are not yet final, if you are not scoring what you want to be - review and revise to earn a higher score!

- Beginning on October 18, review each supervisees progress in Managebac up to this point.
- Look for minimum of 5 meaningful process journal entries
- Read their paper outline
- Review their bibliography
- Fill out the evidence check google form, indicating the student's progress: tinyurl.com/PPEvidenceCheck1
- You will need to submit a form for each of your supervisees, no exceptions
- Meet and discuss progress with each individual student.
