Yes, every student who scores below the 25th percentile on the screener needs a Personal Reading Plan in Infinite Campus. Students who score higher on the diagnostic still need a Personal Reading Plan, however may have “Continue explicit tier 1 instruction and monitor progress” as the plan notes and details.
What if a student has a PRP and scores at or above the 40th percentile on the screener in the future?
Yes, every student who scores below the 25th percentile on the screener needs a Personal Reading Plan in Infinite Campus. Students who score higher on the diagnostic still need a Personal Reading Plan, however may have “Continue explicit tier 1 instruction and monitor progress” as the plan notes and details.
Because it doesn't have a start/end date function on the form, you'll simply enter the exit date at the bottom of the form. This may be revised for the 26-27 SY.
The law says that the plan must be created within 10 days of a completed diagnostic test. Schools can wait until the District has sent home the screener communication to send home the personalized reading plan. If schools want to send the PRP home prior to the District information being sent, the wording below can be printed on to school letterhead and sent home.
