These series are my exploration of self during covid. I felt severely torn apart, between my virtual US school and my Chinese daily life. Thus, I visualized my experience of isolation through the split of myself to finally joining hands with myself and watching the sunset together.

I created this piece during covid while trapped in quarantine, unable to return to school. The background is based off a hospital near our house that I used to walk past. I contrasted the darkness of the black crows and old hospital against the vibrant colors brought by the medical workers.
