When the pandemic first started ravaging WuHan, fear for my family’s wellbeing made me realize the important role they play in my upbringing. In “Time – You and I”, I explored the relationship between my grandmother and I, the red string of kinship tying us close. I also used charcoal and oil to study my mother as my model.
