Each student at Miller School has a Student Success Plan (SSP). This Plan outlines academic goals of the student beginning with a post-secondary college goal and goes backwards. In this way, it is ensured that the necessary courses to achieve goals are mapped clearly. Additionally, SSPs include information about student interests and talents, learning preferences and needs, and other relevant information that teachers and advisors can use to build meaningful experiences both in the classroom and out. SSPs are re-visited annually (or more frequently as needed) to ensure students are making progress toward their goals.
