No, all you need is your Miller School e-mail.

How do I check out a book?

Once you have located the book(s) you would like to check out, please bring them to the librarian for check-out. If the librarian is not in, there is a book sign-out sheet located on her desk. If students are interested in materials the library does not own, they may obtain a library card Crozet branch of the Jefferson Madison Regional Library. Click here for instructions. The librarian will pick up holds from JMRL every Tuesday and Thursday.

Can I browse the Library's catalog online?

How long can I check out a book?

Don't panic! The MSA Library does not have overdue fees. Please return the book at your soonest convenience. If you are not finished, please see the librarian to renew your materials.

What if my book is lost or damaged?

For both scenarios, please contact the librarian. If the book is lost you will likely need to provide a replacement copy, unless told otherwise. If the book is damaged, the damage will need to be assessed to determine if a replacement copy is warranted.

The book I need is checked out, what do I do?

Please contact the librarian, there may be multiple copies of the book. If there are not, you will be able to put a hold on the book to ensure you receive it next. You will get an email when your hold is ready to pick up.

Where do I return library books?

There is a book drop located on the far right of the librarians desk. You may also leave books on the librarians desk or in their mailbox.
