ACCN for Student-Led Advisory: XLP1015A-1 LDRSHP TR

Course Description:

• In Student-Led Advisory, you’ll be registered for and earn a Leadership Training elective credit. You will use your experience as a former newbie Trojan to work with the instructor, Ms. Nakahara, in preparing the first year students’ advisory lessons. You will also be partnered up (Jr. & Sr.) to lead those advisory classes, evaluate their effectiveness, and make them even more meaningful for future first year students.

• Although you won’t be “in” a Junior or Senior advisory class, you’ll still work on your Personal Transition Plan (PTP) requirements for graduation. This is a regular elective class that meets four times each week and will focus on learning about yourself as a leader, practicing your leadership skills, and reflecting on your performance to promote continual improvement
