Course Description:

• Programming 1 is a course that acts as a student’s first step into computer science. In this class, students will learn the potential and application of the Python programming language through hands-on, project driven lessons. In addition to coding, students will also be introduced to computer science related skills that industry representatives feel are relevant to post secondary education and workforce settings. Skills such as Linux command line interface, server configuration and management, and concepts in IoT such as working with the Raspberry Pi platform will be covered.
