Open to Grades 9-12 and will take place during Flex B. Keith Lawrence, former Director of Human Resources at Procter & Gamble will be hosting a series of workshops for our juniors and seniors to help them develop professional skills needed to be successful in securing and keeping a job. He has partnered with over fifty companies and many universities to recruit and develop thousands of employees and is deeply committed to helping the next generation of leaders. In this section, he will share with students how to write a compelling resume.

Registration Form - No Registration Needed

Small groups of 7-10 students meet with several volunteer mentors during a fast-paced event to explore various career paths and job responsibilities. Volunteers share their own personal experiences in the workplace, along with information on their employer and work readiness skills. Students hone their soft skills while learning about local employers. Seniors with last name A-K will have Speed Mentoring during Flex on November 28 and Seniors with last name L-Z will have Speed Mentoring during Flex on November 30.

Quarter 1 & Quarter 4 - Invite Only

This group will run over 7 weeks during Flex B once a week. Students will reflect on the meaning of leadership and what type of leader they wish to become. Students will also be introduced to and practice critical leadership skills such as conflict resolution, public speaking, written communication and more.

Senior Post-Grad Planning

Quarter 2 - Senior Self-Report

Seniors will meet over the course of 6 weeks during Flex B once per week. Students will reflect on their abilities, interests, and values to create a plan for after graduation. Students will also be introduced to critical job readiness skills such as resume writing, interview practice, and how to succeed in their first job.
