At Milestones English Academy (MEA), we understand that every student has unique goals and needs. That’s why we offer a pathway of courses that not only help you grow your English skills but also allow you to transition into different programs based on your progress and aspirations. Our flexible approach ensures that you are always moving toward your personal, academic, or professional objectives.
Most students begin their journey in our General English (GE) program, designed for learners of all levels. If you are a beginner or just building your foundation, GE equips you with essential skills in speaking, listening, reading, and writing. As you progress, you’ll move through Pre-Intermediate, Intermediate, Upper-Intermediate, and Advanced levels, gaining confidence in everyday English communication.
Once you reach the Intermediate level, new pathways open to suit your specific goals:
IELTS Preparation: For students planning to take the IELTS test to meet academic or visa requirements, you can transition seamlessly into our IELTS Preparation program. This course focuses on test strategies, time management, and building your academic English proficiency.
PTE Preparation: If you prefer to prepare for the Pearson Test of English (PTE), our PTE Prep course at the Intermediate level provides specialised training in integrated skills to help you achieve your desired scores.
Business English: For students looking to improve their communication in professional settings, Business English at the Intermediate level sharpens skills like writing professional emails, participating in meetings, and giving presentations.
English for Tourism & Hospitality: If your career is in the tourism or hospitality sector, this course offers practical language skills for customer interactions, bookings, and service etiquette.
Upon reaching the Upper-Intermediate level, even more options become available:
Cambridge Exam Preparation (FCE): At this stage, you can prepare for the globally recognised Cambridge First Certificate in English (FCE). This certification is ideal for professional and academic advancement.
IELTS or PTE Prep: If you’ve decided to pursue an academic or visa pathway, you can enrol in advanced levels of IELTS or PTE Prep to refine your language skills and achieve your target scores.
Business English: Continue honing your workplace communication skills with advanced-level tasks such as report writing and negotiation.
Reaching Advanced and Beyond
At the Advanced level, your choices reflect highly specialised needs:
Cambridge Advanced (CAE): For those seeking an internationally respected credential, the Cambridge Advanced Exam Preparation course offers in-depth preparation for the CAE exam.
EAP (English for Academic Purposes): Prepare for higher education studies with a focus on academic writing, critical thinking, and research skills in our EAP program.
Continue in Business English for mastery of professional communication or take further steps to refine your fluency in specialised areas.
