English Speaking Competition

What a great Friday morning! Today is April 07, 2023. The temperature will be from 18 to 27 degree celsius. It is partly cloudy and there will be 10% chance of rain during night time.

There will be an English speaking skill competition on April 12, 2023 The school will compete in different category like story telling, and Reader’s Theater . Let’s pray and hope that they will get home the bacon. This time, I will let you hear some excerpts Reader’s Theater performance.

Importance of English Language

What a great Monday morning! Today is April 10, 2023. The temperature will be from 18 to 28 degree Celsius. It is partly cloudy and there will be 10% chance of rain during night time.

Almost all school in Taiwan is starting to promote practicing to speak English. So let us also make a way to learn and try to speak English. There are some practical reason why you should keep learning and practicing your English language skills.

First, English is the language of international communication. When you go outside your country, this will be your tool of communication, so it makes your travel easy. Is that good for you? Yes It is. Second, It makes you understand different people and different cultures. You have the chance to meet many friends. Is that amazing? Yes it is.

Don’t be afraid to make mistakes when you try to speak English. Our goal is to deliver the message and not to speak perfect English. Don’t worry if you mispronounce the word incorrectly or you made grammar error because as we all know this saying “ Practice makes perfect”. I hope that when I see you in person, Don’t be afraid to talk to me. I will be happy talking with you.

Polite Expressions

What an amazing Wednesday morning! Today is April 12, 2023. The temperature will be from 20 to 30 degree Celsius. It’s sunny day! And there will be 10% chance of rain during night time.

Do you want to practice some daily polite expressions in English? Wow! That’s great? So Today, I want you to learn and practice some polite greetings and expressions when you see each other or when I meet you along the corridor of the school.

You can simply say with smile on your faces like“ Hi” or “Hello”, or “Good morning!” “Good afternoon!” or “Good evening”, depending on time. Then follow asking polite questions like “ How are you doing?” Or “How are you today? “Or you can say, “What are you feeling right now?” Or“ What do you feel right now?”

Well, You can start talking and answering “ Hi, Good morning, I’m feeling great today!” Or “I’m feeling good” or “I’m feeling happy” or “ I’m feeling blessed. How about you ?” See? You can start talking in English. Is that good? Yes it is. I’ m so excited meeting you along the corridor and hearing your polite response.

Congratulations to the English Speaking Competition

Thanks God It’s Friday. Today is  April 14, 2023. The temperature will be from 22 to 33 degree Celsius. It’s sunny day! And there will be 20% chance of rain during night time.

Do you know that the school joined in Different English Competition, last April 12, 2023 Wednesday in the category of Story Telling, Impromptu Reading and Readers Theater. I’m so proud to announce that among twenty-eight  Schools in Chiayi County, we  got the Excellent grade which is the Best Prizes   in Readers Theater,once again, Congratulations and keep up the good work!

Be Healthy!

Let’s start this week with smile on your faces. Happy Monday morning Minsyong Junior High School. Today is April 17, 2023. The temperature will be from 20 to 32 degree Celsius. It’s sunny day! And there will be no chance of rain during night time.
Due to various  or unpredictable change of weather, I think, we  must make sure   that we are taking considerations with  our health to avoid different sickness so as to maintain our productivity in all aspects of life.

May I give you some practical health tips during this season.

1. Stay hydrated by drinking enough clean water.

2. Keep your skin protected from sun or rain by bringing always your umbrella and your raincoat.

3. Avoid getting sick by eating nutritious food and drinks.

4. Spend at least 10-30 minute exercise.

Today I realized that I really need to take care of myself… as we all know the saying  “ Health is Wealth”.

Partial Solar Eclipse on April 20

Good morning everyone, Today is Wednesday. How are you feeling right now? I know that you are all good and great..Today is  April 19, 2023. The temperature will be from 23 to 32 degree Celsius. It’s sunny and hot day!but there will be  an 80% chance of rain during night time.

Did you know that Tomorrow, April 20, 2023, Thursday  will have a rare Hybrid Solar Eclipse. On This day, the moon will block the sun causing a Hybrid Solar Eclipse.Meaning, during this remarkable  event, the eclipse change from Total Solar Eclipse to an (Annular or ring -shaped) Eclipse because the moon’s shadow move across the Earth’s surface.

Here in Chiayi, if the sky is clear , Partial  Solar Eclipse will be visible with partial phase  from  12:55-13:55  in the afternoon. Enjoy your  possible observance of Eclipse!

Along with this Eclipse, the School Scout Troop hold a  small event by  1:00- 1:10 in the afternoon. Iam so amazed with these important  events that made 2023 a meaningful  year.

English Song Competition in June 2023

Thank God Its Friday!  Today is April 21, 2023. The temperature will be from 22 to 29 degree Celsius. The weather has scattered thunderstorms and there will be   50% chance of rain throughout of the day..

Did you know that Music can relax, express ourselves and generally improve our well-being. And it affects our hormones, such as dopamine, serotonin and oxytoxin that influence our mood. These are the happy hormones

So to promote your love to music, there will be upcoming English Song Competition of 7th Graders in June 2023, and may I shared with you the songs “Heal the World’’ , “The Winner’s Song”, “Hey Jude”,  “Reach Out For the Sky”, “We Will Get There” and “Top of the World”.

Wow! This will be another memorable experience for our students to Enjoy. Do your best for the English Song Competition.

Rainy Season  Safety and Health Reminders

Let’s welcome this week with a happy thoughts and smile on your faces.  Good morning everyone! Today is April 24, 2023, It’s Monday. The temperature will be from 21 to 28 degree Celsius. The weather has still scattered thunderstorms and there will be   40% chance of rain throughout the day.

Rainy seasons are coming so  I think  we need to be alert  and be reminded with different  safety and health precautions  to stay safe  during your stay here in school.

First, protect yourself from rain by always bringing your umbrella or your raincoat so as to protect your school things like your notebooks and books. Second, always bring extra uniform or dry clothing so in case you get wet , you can quickly change your clothes.  Third, Germs tend to spread  during rainy season so please always wash your hands and be sanitized and also bring mosquito repellant, to avoid mosquito bites. Lastly, during rainy season, there will have some increased of waterborne diseases, so make sure that you are drinking the clean water.
