"Jamie was absolutely a beautiful and amazing part of our homebirth. Jamie is not only an extremely skilled and knowledgeable midwife but she also takes time to truly know you and your desires for your birth experience. My husband and I felt completely safe with Jamie, and even though this was our third baby, and second homebirth, she explained everything that she was doing all while giving us the space we needed and wanted. She is the perfect blend of hands off and observing while still be competent and aware of all things happening!

"I want to be Jamie when I grow up! She is calm, steady, kind and confident. Jamie delivered my nephew who had shoulder dystocia and needed a few rescue breaths after delivery due to shock from being stuck. Jamie knew exactly how to resolve the sticky shoulder and gently guide my nephew safely earth-side. She remained calm and gave instruction to the support people as needed while administering rescue breaths and reassuring mom that all was well. As soon as baby was on moms chest Jamie made sure that mom focused on her brand new perfectly healthy baby boy so as not to interrupt the flow of oxytocin and greatly reduced the risk of postpartum hemorrhage. If you are looking for a homebirth midwife you will in capable and caring hands with Jamie! I highly recommend her!"

"Jamie was a part of the birth of my son. She was training with my midwife at the time so I hadn’t met her until the day I went into labor. Although, at the time she arrived I was already progressing quickly so I don’t remember much of introductions, I do remember there being a sense of calmness in the room with her there.
