This field-based workshop provides participants with the skills to identify regional tree species during the dormant season, with a focus on using buds, bark, and fruit for identification. In addition to trees, we will discuss the identification of local vines and shrubs as they are encountered.
The workshop will take place at Hawthorne Park, 500 Ackerman Drive in Porter, Indiana.
