National Honor Society Scholarship
Amount: Varies
Criteria:
A high school senior expecting to receive a high school diploma during the current academic year.
An active member in good standing of a National Honor Society chapter, meeting all membership requirements and obligations of the local chapter.
An NHS student account holder, verified by the NHS chapter adviser.
Planning to pursue a degree at an accredited U.S. college or university.
Required documents:
A letter of recommendation through the application portal
Ronald McDonald House Charities National Scholarship Program
Amount: $5,000-100,000
Criteria:
Academic achievement
Financial need
Community involvement
Personal statement
Personal qualities and strengths as portrayed in a personal interview, either in-person or by phone
Eligibility:
You’re a high school senior
Must be a legal U.S. Resident, U.S. Citizen or a DREAMER/DACA recipient
You’re under 21 years old
You carry a minimum 2.8 GPA
You’re eligible to attend a two- or four-year college, university or vocational/technical school with a full-time course of study
You’ll disclose other scholarship programs that you’ve applied for
You’ll enroll and attend an accredited institution in the academic year after your selection (verification needed, as scholarship funds are paid directly to the schools)
You have at least one parent of Hispanic/Latino heritage
Cyrilla Olapeju Sanni Scholarship Fund

Criteria:
3.0 GPA or higher

Ethel Hayes Destigmatization of Mental Health Scholarship
Amount: up to $2,050
Criteria:
Students who have had challenges with meantal health

have loved ones who have struggled with mental health

HEB Scholarship for Texas Athletic, Mustic and Academic Participants:
Amount: $2000
Criteria:
Texas High school graduate 2024
3.3 GPA +
Participated in a UIL competition as a student
been active in community service programs or events

Current GPA
Number of Community Service Hours in the last 12 months
Community Service Verification Letters to document the number of hours submitted
A Letter of Recommendation
A short essay (500 words or less) on the topic: "What does Community mean to you?"

San Angelo Stock Show Foundation:
Amount: $1000 a semester(Renewable)
Schools honored: Texas colleges, universities, or vocational schools
Criteria:
Member of 4-H or FFA
Resident of Texas
Must have participated in the San Angelo Stock Show and Rodeo (at least once)
High school Graduate
Enroll for a minimum of 12 hours per semester.
Must have taken the ACT or SAT to be eligible.
