Honors Ensembles
In 2020, I worked with the Eastman Wind Ensemble conductor, and was a featured soloist on the Planets Suite by Gustav Holst. Which was performed by the band at OMEA's professional conference. Featured above our the directors of Lakota West High School, and students from that year that participated.
In 2019, my dear friend (on the left) and fellow drum major both earned the opportunity to participate in a national level honor band. We competed against hundreds of musicians who were all deemed the best in their respective states to partake and perform at a national conference.
In the 2019 All-State Band, I had the privilege of working with Paula Crider, an amazing musician and educator. I also got the opportunity to perform a notable duet within the piece Italian Rhapsody by Julie Giroux, who is featured in this picture across from Paula Crider, the conductor and worked with the ensemble.
Other Performances
During my junior year at Miami, I joined the mixed chorale known as the Chamber Singers, as a tenor performing notable works such as the Messiah by Handel. I also partook in vocal lessons and performed Samuel Barber's, Sure on This Shining Night, which is featured above.
In 2022, I was asked to comeback and perform with my alma mater, Lakota West High School. The piece was Bugler's Holiday, and I played 1st part. We performed a total of 5 times, the last time being at OMEA's professional development conference.
I am an active participant in the Miami University Steel Band and in the year 2022 the steel band put on a once in a lifetime concert. Over 2,000 people were in attendance and we performed many works from the rock and metal genres.
