This course deepened my understanding of the experiences of Black women in higher education through an exploration of identity, systemic barriers, and advocacy. These artifacts reflect my growth in understanding power, representation, and the importance of creating more inclusive environments.
This course focused on developing my counseling and helping skills through hands-on practice and reflection. Through multiple practice sessions and recorded demonstrations, I strengthened my ability to actively listen, respond with empathy, and support students in meaningful ways.
