What can I do with Kami?
Students engage with Kami's user-friendly and vibrant interface, encouraging creativity as they learn. Enjoy a seamless experience with Google Drive Auto-Save feature.
All students have access to Screencastify, a screen recording tool that allows students to create videos such as Slides presentations with voice-overs, which may be used for assignments and projects. Students can learn how to install the Screencastify extension and use Screencastify here.
Teachers also use Screencastify to pre-record lessons and presentations.
Nearpod is a tool used by teachers that allows for more interactive lessons during a live virtual class, or an opportunity for students to access a self-paced lesson with formative checks built in. Students can join a Nearpod lesson here with the classroom code provided by a teacher. More information about how Nearpod works can be found here. Please note: students do not need a Nearpod account. Accounts are for teachers only.
