episode 4:

tips for white educators who teach students of color

In schools with a student body comprised primarily of Students of Color, it is common to find a majority White teaching staff. Due to racial and cultural differences, there is often a large disconnect between the students and their teachers. On this episode, I am joined by Emilie Stewart and Rachel Baker, two phenomenal White teachers who teach/have taught in predominantly Black-populated schools. They want to provide other White teachers with tips for connecting with their students despite racial and cultural barriers.
