At MESD, our commitment to educational equity is advanced through a coordinated approach to continuous improvement. Three interconnected planning and goal-setting processes help ensure that our daily work, professional learning, and individual growth all contribute to equitable outcomes for the students, families, districts, and communities we serve:
Continuous Improvement Plans (CIPs) identify program priorities, strategies, and measures of success
Professional Development Plans outline the learning and capacity-building needed to implement those priorities effectively
TalentEd Goals connect individual employee goals to program and organizational improvement efforts
These processes are intentionally designed to work together. Professional learning should build the knowledge and skills needed to achieve Continuous Improvement Plan priorities, while TalentEd Goals provide opportunities for staff to contribute directly to those improvement efforts through their individual work. When aligned, these three processes create a coherent system in which organizational priorities, team actions, and individual goals all reinforce one another in service of MESD's strategic plan and our shared commitment to equity.
The timeline below outlines key milestones from August 2026 through June 2027 to support intentional planning, implementation, reflection, and progress monitoring throughout the year.
