I like this quote because it inspires me to do better. I've been too comfortable with the world and their standards that I forget that it's ok to be different. Everyone is different in their own way and we all should be alike. I also like this quote because it reminds me that I can do better. It's better to do the extra. It's the only way for success in the future.
I like this quote because we are always going to be successful and great but we need to start to get to that path. We can't just jump in and start big, it's not how things work. Starting little will help us learn from our mistakes and grow from it. Use our mistakes for the better. I'm always told to start little and that's why I chose my CTE shop. I want to become a surgeon in the future but that's a long way to go so i'm starting to learn the basic things in Health Occupations and use it in the future when I start.
I like this quote because i'm always worried of what people think of me and I tend to isolate myself. The more I worry about other people, the more I stop being a great person. God gave me the blessing/talent to be smart and respectful. He gave me the chance to dream big and I appreciate him for that. My goals in life is to become a surgeon, a great mother and wife. I also want to travel the world to see the beauties of it. God creation is the reason I am the person I am today. With the gifts God gave me, I can become great and successful. It'll lead me to a happy life.
While learning about the Industrial Revolution, we were tasked with making a commercial for inventions that changed our world. My group advertised the seed drill invented by Jethro Tull. We made our commercial by having a director, producer, screenwriter, creative designer, and researcher. My role was director, and I accomplished this by recording most of the clips and my voiceover in the video. I also took part in the video, acting.
In class, we were assigned to pick a topic from one of the issues God's Creations are facing. The topic I chose was Endangered Animals. I've gathered a large amount of research and made a well detailed slide about the topic. I also made a flyer to educate and persuade people into saving the animals.
In this project, we created a political cartoon about an issue we cared about in the world today. I chose to focus on Women Stereotypes. My cartoon shows different stereotypes women face daily in order to be perfect women. We then wrote about the importance of our issue.
As a class, we went to visit the residents who live in McAuley. I had a wonderful and long conversation with a dear friend of mine who lives there.
As a class, we went to Drexel University's "Gross Anatomy Lab." The Drexel students showed us different parts of the human body and different protocols they had to take. I was able to see arteries, veins, bones, and even organs
