1. Training activity 3 (TA3) - Workshop for exchanging good practices among teachers from FR (host country), NO, AT, and CZ. It took place in Chauny (FR) from We 13th November till Sa 16th November 2024, including 2 travel days.
* Icebreaker activity using ChatGPT to generate fun facts about the participants,
* Introduction to using chatbots in students' homework: Efficiency, personalization, engagement, and feedback,
* Designing and creating chatbots for specific homework assignments,
* Testing chatbots: Teachers will test each other's chatbots and provide feedback on functionality and usability,
* Group discussion and debrief on the ethical considerations when using chatbots in homework assignments.
* Strategies for integrating chatbots into classroom activities and assignments.
* Discussion of how to evaluate the effectiveness of chatbots in students' homework and gather student feedback.
* Discussion of best practices for using chatbots in education and future developments in the field.
* AI Technology Fair in Mechanical Engineering: LES RENCONTRES ROBONUMERIQUE. L'IA DANS L'INDUSTRIE (Saint-Quentin) - meeting the
professionals, presentation, discussion.
2. Preparatory virtual collaboration. October-November 2024
* Chatbot brainstorming activity: Teachers used an online collaboration tool (Google Docs) to brainstorm potential chatbot homework assignments. Teachers from every partner school suggested a homework assignment they thought would be suitable for a chatbot, and other teachers provided feedback and suggestions.
3. Subsequent work tasks. November 2024
* Sharing chatbot assignments and testing each other's chatbots, and providing feedback on the effectiveness and usability of the chatbots.
The activity itself took place precisely according to the plan from the project application. Minor detailed adjustments to the program were made in
preparatory collaboration and subsequent work tasks to simplify the joint work.
Achieved results of the activity:
1. Successful participation of 6 participants (teachers) from 4 countries (including the country of venue) in the workshop TA3.
2. Chatbot Homework Assignment: Creating a chatbot to help students complete a specific homework assignment. The chatbot provides personalized
feedback, offers hints and tips, and guides students through the assignment.
3. Chatbot Evaluation Survey: Using ChatGPT to create a survey that students can use to evaluate the effectiveness of chatbots in their homework
assignments. The survey includes questions about efficiency, personalization, engagement, feedback, and the students' ethical considerations.
