Flipped Follow-Up

In Two Parts

How can we continue to build new educational opportunities for our students through the use of Primary Sources?

Welcome to the Flipped Follow-Up meeting for "Bringing Science and the Arts Alive with Primary Source Materials." This meeting will offer you the opportunities to experience and interact with the information and ideas from the original in-person meeting. Beneath these directions, you will find the step-by-step agenda for each of the two parts, collaboration moments, videos and tasks.

Ultimately, this flipped meeting will take place in two parts and should be, in total, the equivalent of an estimated 2 hours of seat-time. You will receive a PD certificate if all sections are completed, and if the two hour requirement has been met.

Part 1: Due 12/13/17. Complete each step outlined below, including Padlet posts, planning doc, and screencast. In this section, you will interact with a series of screencasts, post ideas to Padlet walls, and share a screencast. All-in-all, there are 5 sections in part 1, each consisting of a video and a task.

Part 2. Due 12/20/17. View your colleagues' screencasts and then comment. Also complete the survey.

As a reminder: In order to have the PDPs earned from the flipped Meeting count for salary credit, please make sure to work on the flipped PD modules outside of school hours. If you're a Melrose teacher, all standard PD rules apply. If you are a teacher at another district, it is also your responsibility to adhere to the rules put in place by your district.
