SENIOR FINAL EXAMS

Senior Finals: Finals may come in the form of exams, papers, or presentations. Seniors who maintain a numeric grade average in a year-long, major course may be exempted from taking a final exam. 

To be eligible for exemption, a senior must maintain:

Year-Long Courses:

• • Maintain a numeric average of 87.0 or higher for the first three quarters (Q1, Q2, and Q3), and
    
    

  • Have a fourth quarter average of 87.0 or higher as of May 9th.
    
    

Semester Courses (second semester):

• • Maintain a numeric average of 87.0 or higher for quarter 3, and
    
    

  • Have a fourth quarter average of 87.0 or higher as of May 9th.
    
    

• AP Courses:
  
  

  • Seniors who sit for the AP exam are automatically exempt from taking a final exam in that AP course.
