The homeroom teacher is a non-subject specific resource for students. They are available as a point of contact to provide students with support, answer general questions, and help students stay on track to complete their Apex classes by the end of the semester. The homeroom teachers will monitor student progress, reset quizzes and unlock unit tests, and help students with pacing, planning, and overall organization. Homeroom teachers are not content specific teachers. They do not grade student practice assignments or provide tutoring support. If students need academic help, they should contact a consulting teacher for tutoring.
