The Medina Online Digital Academy (MODA) is a flexible and independent learning environment for students. It is an alternative to in-person learning as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. The program uses the Apex Online Learning curriculum which is primarily student self-paced. Students work independently with minimal teacher interaction; however, there are homeroom teachers, subject specific consulting teachers, and study skills tutors available to provide students with additional support. MODA aims to foster independence, resilience, and perseverance in learners with support from caring adults.
