Using the Maine Standards I aim to have my students express the key concepts, processes, and traditions of art. My pedagogy allows me to set the building blocks for the classroom. I'm naturally an enthusiastic person and I happily bring that energy into the learning environment. I want my students to enjoy all the aspects of the Studio Habits of Mind. By setting short and long term goals, I encourage children to exercise and expand free thought, finding out what speaks to them, exploring the art world and all that it has to offer in a safe and welcoming classroom.
