Dear Students,
Welcome to the classroom! As you enter, please take the following steps to get started:
Sketching: If todayās activity involves drawing, take out your sketchbook and begin sketching the daily drawing displayed on the Promethean board.
Painting: If we are working on a painting, please gather your painting materials. This includes your painting, clean water, paint, and brushes. Begin working on your painting while waiting for your classmates to arrive and for the class to start officially.
These initial activities are designed to help you ease into the creative process and make the most of our time together. Thank you for your cooperation and enthusiasm!

An analogous color scheme is a design approach characterized by the selection of colors that are contiguous on the color wheel. This compositional strategy entails the use of hues that are in close proximity to each other, thereby fostering a sense of visual coherence and harmony within the design or artistic composition. This creates a sense of unity and cohesiveness in a design, making it pleasing to the eye. For instance, imagine a palette of red, orange, and yellow. These colors sit next to each other on the color wheel, creating a warm and vibrant feel. Another example could be blue, blue-green, and green, evoking a cool and calming atmosphere. The key is to choose colors with a shared undertone for a visually appealing and balanced look.
