Role includes:

Entry Level Welding Position

All Steel has an entry  level position open for  Plate  work. Making the plates based

on what the print  says the  dimensions are and marking the piece number  they  made.


It is a very  important  job. The person must  be able to accurately read a tape measure and be conscientious and safe in a shop environment. Will train on equipment, but awareness of  welding  procedures is helpful.

Position will occasionally  grind   to  make  welds pretty and assist in other areas as required.    There is a lot to  learn here to make  a career. Previous students have moved up to  welding/fabrication  (putting those plates together on the beams and columns)  and become  certified. welders.


Our  hours  are  Mon- Friday  7:30 to 4 pm.   

We  have been in business for 20 years.  


Must  be able to pass a drug test.

Invasive Plant Mitigation

Ouray County and San Miguel County Vegetation Management are looking for motivated applicants for seasonal technician positions. Responsibilities

Qualifications

·         Experience with kayaks, canoes and stand up paddleboards desired

·         Outgoing demeanor

·         Enjoy dealing with the public

·         Great verbal communication skills

·         Highly responsible, organized, and reliable

·         Lift a minimum of 50lbs if required

·         Comfortable working in various weather conditions, such as heat, cold, and/or rain

·         Open availability during the summer

·         Pay $16 to $20 an hour plus tips, depending on your job experience.
