Art Event/Project Needs Volunteers

The Art Center is going to work with Friends of Youth and Nature who are conducting a hands-on event for youth at River Bottom Park on May 25th.  There will be over 20 booths/tents where youth can participate in activities that support education and appreciation of nature. The art center is doing a simple multimedia project where students cut out pieces of wallpaper and create two birds that can be glued to a back.  We will then hang the work in the gallery for the month of June. If you are interested in community service and working with young people in creating this simple art, contact.
