Algebra 1

Welcome to Algebra 1. In the first quarter we will be extending your understanding of linear functions and solving equations that you learned in middle school. We will also add a thing called linear inequalities which are some use in life, and there will probably be a question in the SAT test.

In the second quarter there will be an extension of algebra to analyze polynomials, especially quadratics which make parabola graphs. There will also be some review of and then addition to middle school statistics and finally exponential functions which is needed for college level biology and medicine.
