Curriculum Units of Study
Achieve 3000 - students are required to read the article and complete the coordinating activity for One article each week.
Reading Centers: Centers may vary but will include a teacher directed Phonics Practice, Achieve 3000, Vocabulary practice, Independent Read, Guided Reading and Reading Strategies, etc.
Technology used for Reading
Achieve 3000- Reading passages that are leveled to meet students' needs.
Students will complete one Achieve 3000 5 Step Lesson each week
Late Work Policy - Late work will be accepted for half credit up to one week after the due date. After one week, the assignment will receive a score of 0.
Campus Student/Campus Parent - Be sure to create a Parent Portal account to have access to all of your student’s information (grades, attendance, lunch count, etc.)
Grades - Grades are averaged and we believe that all aspects of a student’s educational practice are of equal importance so we do not weigh grades. Please note any missing assignment will receive a score of zero (0 %).
Grade Scale:
A 100-90%
B 89-80%
C 79-70%
D 69-60%
F 59-0%
