About Me:
Hello Everyone! My name is Nora Waldow, and I have been a teacher with Montrose County School District for 25 years. I have taught 4th grade, Reading Intervention, 2nd grade, 5th grade, and Special Education. I graduated from Mesa State College with a B.A. in psychology in 1996. I went on to earn my M.A. from Adams State College in Curriculum and Instruction in 2004. Then in 2014, I added a Special Education endorsement to my professional license. I am so excited to begin my 26th year of teaching! This will be my fifth year of teaching at Columbine Middle School where I will be continuing in Exceptional Student Services helping students in 6th -8th grade succeed despite individual challenges. I love teaching and do my best to help each child reach his or her full potential. I look forward to every year with new and unique students. I am confident that this will be a year full of learning and connections for us all. I will work hard to make each child's year a special experience and as positive as possible. I am always grateful and privileged to do this job and know that each child is capable and can achieve great things.
