Mountain Math: daily/weekly spiral review of Grade Level math standards
Prodigy: Students will use their Ipads to practice over 1500 math skills based on Curriculum Standards Requirement: that students play minimum of 1x week.
CPM: Ebook and teacher-directed lesson 3-4 per week.
Supplies - This school year, all students were given school supplies on the first day of school. The expectation is that students come to class with supplies each day. For math in particular, they are expected to come with the following supplies:
Composition Notebook: Students will take guided notes and use these to complete chapter tests in CPM.
IPAD: Students will use their Ipads for Reflex Math and to access the CPM ebook.
Pencils: Students will need a pencil with a functioning eraser each day. No pens are allowed in math.
Calculators: Students may use the calculator provided to them on the first day of school for appropriate lessons.
Absences- If students are absent for any reason, it is their responsibility to get with the teacher or a peer in order to get caught up on material or instruction as soon as possible. If a student misses a class test or quiz, they will be expected to complete it upon returning to school. Teacher discretion will dictate the time frame this will happen based on material covered and length of absence.
Campus Student/Campus Parent - Be sure to create a Parent Portal account to have access to all of your student’s information (grades, attendance, lunch count, etc.)
Grades - Grades are averaged and we believe that all aspects of a student’s educational practice are of equal importance so we do not weigh grades. Please note any missing assignment will receive a score of zero (0 %).
Grade Scale:
A 100-90%
B 89-80%
C 79-70%
D 69-60%
F 59-0%
