Internship program

Internship

About the Program

An internship is a directed, practical learning experience, outside of the normal classroom setting, in which students sharpen skills, gain experience through structured and monitored work-based learning experiences. Students apply academic concepts, mastery instructional objectives in a professional settings, and develop a direct primary approach to identify organizational operation of local professional companies. Internships can be done over the summer or during the academic school year (either both semester or one).

Is Participating in an Internships for You?

I AM HERE FOR YOU!

Wheaton is my home. I have been at Wheaton High School since I graduated from James Madison University in 2009. I have taught just about every math class offered at Wheaton as well as been apart of multiple sports teams (field hockey, swim/dive, lacrosse, and softball) and clubs (student government association and Jewish Culture Club). So if you can't tell, I love being part of the Wheaton community :)

I have taken on the role of Internship Coordinator this school year (2023) and am very excited to help our students. There are a plethura of internships out there that I believe our students are not only capable of doing but able to excel in. It is time for Wheaton to shine in the community and this is a great opportunity for us to do so.

When I am not doing something Wheaton related, I am being a dad and husband. I have been married since 2010 to my beautiful wife (also a teacher :)) and have two awesome kids; Emma and Jack.
