Springbrook's PTSA provides avenues for parents to partner with teachers and staff to create an environment where students can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
HIGHLIGHTS of
2024-2025 PTSA ACCOMPLISHMENTS
Serve as a Bridge between Parents, Staff and Montgomery County Public School Resources:
PTSA meetings provided open forum for parents, teachers, and students to voice and discuss needs and concerns.
WhatsApp continued twith the efforts of increase translation of materials into multi languages to support participation from Springbrook's multi-cultural Community.
Springbrook Cluster Coordinator-continued advocation for needs of Springbrook
8 PTSA Meetings:
-Introduced various organizations and programs within SB HS
-100 Springbrook PTSA Members
-5 Fundraisers successfully raised:
$871.87 for general account
$506.50 for After Prom
Enhance the Culture of Springbrook:
Hosted Back-to-School Teacher’s Appreciation event
Supported Homecoming
Hosted Holiday Teacher Appreciation event
Received Tik Tok grant for $$ and conducted Kindness Campaign
Applied for and received (again) School of Excellence Recognition
Provide Educational Resources and or Financial Support to our Students:
Purchased wrist bands and supported the drivers permit testing
Provided gift cards for Decision Day
Provided a safe and fun After-Prom event at Maryland Terpzone

2024-2025 Objectives:
Serve as a Bridge between Parents, Staff and Montgomery County Public School Resources:
Facilitate effective communication between students, parents, staff, and principal.
Seek to discover the needs and concerns of and provide resource connection between students, staff, principal and MCPS.
Advocate for the physical and fiscal needs of Springbrook to MCPS as well as our elected leaders.
Welcome new families and assist them with acclimating to Springbrook High School.
Enhance the Culture of Springbrook:
Acknowledge and show appreciation to staff to increase morale and build a culture of respect and honor.
Create healthy and safe environments for students to connect and celebrate at events like Homecoming, Winter Formal and After Prom.
Provide Educational Resources and or Financial Support to our Students:
Bring in guest speakers.
Support educational events.
