PTSA 2023/2024 Objectives (accomplishments in blue):
· Serve as a Bridge between Parents, Staff and Montgomery County Public School Resources:
PTSA meetings provided open forum for parents, teachers, and students to voice and discuss needs and concerns.
WhatsApp launched to increase translation of materials into Spanish to increase participation from the Hispanic Community.

Heinz-Springbrook Cluster Coordinator-advocate for needs of Spring Brook
Springbrook is receiving 3.1 million for infrastructure improvements and $150,000 for a new Track.
Obtained a $1,200.00 grant from the National PTA and hosted a community wide Family Forum on Mental Health and Substance Use Prevention with approximately 100 attendees, many vendors, Montgomery County police, and other county resources.

Hosted Teacher Appreciation Week events with a Superheroes theme and a Teacher Appreciation luncheon
Supplied $170.00 in gift cards for teachers
Hosted After Prom with prize giveaways at Terp Zone with 130 kids in attendance
Raised $11,253 funds through fundraisers, donations and membership.
· Provide Educational Resources and or Financial Support to our Students:
Supported College Day event by sponsoring meals for College Reps
Supported Apprenticeship workshops by providing transportation for the students
Supported Senior Decision Day with $100 in gift cards
Donated items to Seniors to furnish their dorm rooms for college
Scholarship fund distributed to 3 seniors for college expenses, who demonstrated academic excellence, numerous SSL hours above and beyond the requirements and leadership qualities.
