Holiday Giving Program is coming, if your family is in need of assistance, please contact your grade level counselor.
Rock Creek Forest has a partnership with Manna Food Center. This partnership allows us to offer eligible families “Manna Weekend Food Bags”. These bags contain non-perishable food items. One bag is available per family. Bags will be given students on the last school day of each week. Students are responsible for bringing the bag home. 2025–2026 Household FARM Applications
All meals are free for students who qualify for Free And Reduced-price Meals; students who are approved for reduced-price meals eat for free!
The Department of Food and Nutrition Services (DFNS) encourages families with students enrolled at non-CEP schools to complete a FARM application online. Applications for the 2025–2026 school year will be available July 30, 2025.
Local Food Resources
Montgomery County has a variety of resources/organizations that provide food to families facing food insecurity or not have enough food in the home. Please see the list for locations and the calendar for distribution events.
Nourishing Bethesda is a local organization that helps those facing food insecurity. Nourishing Bethesda is also a great place to volunteer.
Montgomery County's Department of Health & Human Services has several dental clinic locations. Dental services are available to adults and children. The fees can be reduced/adjusted if you are uninsured or need assistance. Applications can be found on the website.
MCPS and Thrive Behavioral Health have a partnership that offers students psychotherapy at no cost through a grant program. Students can be referred by RCF staff or parents. If you'd like more information, please contact yours student's grade-level counselor.
