One of the roles of the school counselor is case manager for any student with a 504 plan. Students with an disability that interferes with one's ability to access the curriculum could be eligible for a 504 plan.  While a 504 is developed to meet individual student needs, these plans vary from an Individualized Educational Plan (IEP).
