Welcome back, students! 9TH GRADE -- MC2 contracts are due to Mr. Sauter.
Kevin Afenyo, Class of 2023
MC2 helped me tough myself up for the college experience workload and interactions, I feel like It gave me a good foundation for improving my learning skills taking risks to learn new subjects and overall help me interact with people since you need to talk a lot with professors and classmates more times than often for situations like group work and class participation, overall it was a good experience even with the struggles and setbacks (like getting a bad grade, almost giving up) I got the courage to keep on going.Â
You're going to have to trust yourself, but also shoulder responsibility because when you are in this program, there's a lot of things in your own hands to take care of compared to the stuff that you're used to right now.
My favorite/ rewarding experience was taking MC2 art class at the Takoma Park/Silver Spring campus because the courses were nice and free I was encouraged to think outside the box find the subjects that i enjoy doing as an artists and i got meaningful advice on how to improve my craft and some of my classmates are still in contact with me even though I'm at a different university now in general MC is a really peaceful and friendly place.
