The College/Career Center contains information on colleges, technical schools, financial aid and career opportunities. You can also obtain information regarding ACT, SAT, and scholarships.

Students may come by at any time with a pass from their teacher. Parents, please call or email ahead for an appointment to ensure personal assistance.

January 16, 2020: Junior College & Career Meeting, 7 PM @ MBHS Auditorium

January 24th, 2020: MCPS 12th Annual HBCU College Fair from 6:00-8:00 PM @ Universities of Shady Grove, On-Site Admission appointments start at 3:30 PM - You can register for On-Site Interviews here! If you are in need of transportation to the fair, please let Ms. Salazar know in order to see how many buses will be needed. Thank you!

February 4th, 2020: Gap Year Fair from 7:00-9:30 PM @ Richard Montgomery HS

March 25th, 2020: FREE SAT Day for Juniors at MBHS. You can get a registration form from the Main Office, Counseling Office, or the College & Career Center. Forms are due to the Main Office by February 14th!

Early College/Dual Enrollment - Dual Enrollment opportunities allow MCPS college ready high school students to take college courses during the academic school year. High school students who enroll and take a college course at any Maryland public college or university are able to do so at a reduced cost. Maryland College Application Campaign (MCAC) - Maryland State Department of Education site with great info and resources for all high school students. Campaign provides support to high school seniors, particularly first-generation students, students from low-income circumstances, unaccompanied homeless youth, foster care youth, students with disabilities, students enrolled in the Juvenile Services Education System, and homeschool students to pursue post-sec]]ondary opportunities.
