Review our Blair College Application Handbook!
TOOLS TO BE WORKFORCE READY
Resumes are an important component of college & career readiness. Resumes are great to use for job applications, college applications, and scholarship applications. They are a great way to summarize your leadership, job, and volunteer experiences.
Students can use the following resume template to build their own.
Directions: Save a copy to your google drive in order to edit the document. Once you have saved to edit, you can insert information. Feel free to read the included comments for resume tips!
If you would like your resume to be reviewed, please feel to share your resume with Ms. Delos Reyes at jazminechareez.g.delosreyes@mcpsmd.net
Cover Letters are sometimes required by internships, apprenticeships, and job applications. A cover letter is usually a brief summary of your experiences and why you believe you would be a good fit for the organization you are applying to. Please note: you do not need to list every example of your experience. Remember, this is also listed on your resume.
Students are encouraged to use this Cover Letter Template to create their own. Simply save the cover letter to your google drive in order to edit it with your information. If you wish for Ms. Delos Reyes to look over your Cover Letter, feel free to share it with her at jazminechareez.g.delosreyes@mcpsmd.net
A career cluster is a group of occupations with similar features. Jobs in the same cluster require similar knowledge or skill sets. If someone enjoys a job in a particular cluster, they are more likely to enjoy related occupations in the group.
