MHEC MSFAA for Undocumented Students
The Maryland Higher Education Commission (MHEC) is pleased to announce that the Maryland State Financial Aid Application (MSFAA) for undocumented students that are unable to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is now available on the MHEC One-App for the 2025-2026 award year.
The MHEC One-App is a dual-purpose application from the Maryland Higher Education Commission (MHEC):
Apply for State Scholarships, Grants, and Loan Assistance Repayment Programs: Students can apply for many State scholarships, grants, and loan assistance repayment programs all in one location.
Alternative Financial Aid Application: Provides an alternative financial aid application process for Maryland undocumented students who are ineligible to apply for the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), to be considered for select Maryland State financial aid programs
Students will need to sign into their Maryland College Aid Processing System account to complete the MHEC One-App application. Once signed in, the student will need to select the MHEC One-App and he/she will be able to complete the application and indicate that they are applying for the upcoming 2025-2026 academic year.
