MSFAA: Maryland State Financial Aid Application: Resources for DACA Recipients/Undocumented Students

Students who are DACA Recipients or Undocumented still have the option to apply for Maryland State Aid. To do this, students will need to create an MD CAPS account through the Maryland Higher Education Commission (MHEC) website. After creating an account, students will be able to access the Maryland State Financial Application (MSFAA) application

Requirements:

Once the application has been submitted, students must continue to check their MD CAPS accounts for updates. Additionally, emails are sent to students to inform them if they qualify for grants, scholarships, etc. Student may be asked to turn in specific documents by a specific deadline.

Through submitting the MSFAA, students can qualify for the Guaranteed Access Grant, the Maryland Community College Promise Scholarship, and Senatorial or Delegate scholarships.

For more information on the MSFAA, students and families can go to the MHEC website here: https://mhec.state.md.us/Pages/MSFAA-FAQS.aspx
