This high school course is for Grade 8 students who are concurrently taking Algebra I and is part of the PLTW Engineering Pathway. This course develops students’ problem-solving skills, with emphasis on visualization and communication skills, using a computer and 3-D solid modeling software. This course emphasizes the development of a design using computer software to produce, analyze, and evaluate models of projects and solutions. Theatre
This course is designed for students with a year of experience or more in Theatre, and promotes enjoyment and appreciation for all aspects of theatre through opportunities to build significantly on existing skills. Classwork focuses on characterization, playwriting, and playwrights’ contributions to theatre; while improvisation, creative dramatics, and scene work are used to help students challenge and strengthen their acting skills and explore the technical aspect of scene work.
