- NRCC Fall 2024 Course Registration - NRCC advisors will be at BHS the following dates to register students for Fall 2024 courses:
Tuesday, 4/16
Thursday, 4/25
Wednesday, 5/1
If you have already met with an NRCC advisor to discuss accommodations, or if you plan to major in Nursing or Health Sciences, you DO NOT need to register for one of these time slots - Mrs. Webster will be in touch with your meeting date and time.

Mandatory ACCE Community Service Meeting at BHS- date TBD
Thursday, May 2nd - Christiansburg Rec Center: 4:00pm-7:00pm
Arrive anytime between 4:00pm-7:00pm to sign-up for your community engagement location
MCPS expects that you will make every effort to attend - if you have extenuating circumstances that prevent you from attending, you MUST email Michael Geary - gearymp@montgomerycountyva.gov
All new NRCC students are required to attend a summer New Student Orientation session. Students will register for an orientation session during their advising appointment at their high schools. Students should choose the orientation session at the campus location they plan to primarily attend. Orientation is a STUDENT ONLY event. Parents and families are welcome to attend either Open House date.

October 1, 2022 - FAFSA opens (www.fafsa.ed.gov)
ACCE application opens (www.nr.edu/acce)
Fall 2022 - Attend, with guardian, a FAFSA and ACCE information session at BHS - see above
February 1, 2023 - ACCE Application Deadline - the application will close after midnight and will not be accessible
February 15, 2023 - FAFSA deadline for ACCE applicants (NRCC code MUST be listed) - the NRCC Financial Aid Office MUST receive your FAFSA
March 15, 2023 - FAFSA "To Do List" deadline for ACCE applicants (financial aid information is only communicated through the NRCC student message center in SIS – see the Log-In Instruction page or Mrs. Webster if you need help accessing your NRCC account
April 1, 2023 - ACCE Award Notifications sent
April 10, 2023 - ACCE student acceptance deadline (all awards contingent upon end of year grades)
Mid-May, 2023 - Community service meetings at high schools (community service must be served at a nonprofit approved location as assigned by the locality's ACCE community service coordinator)
June 1, 2023 - ACCE students must register for fall semester classes in order to receive ACCE funding. All communication will be through NRCC email from this date forward.
June 15, 2023 - Submit final high school transcripts to NRCC's Financial Aid Office
August 15, 2023 - Deadline to complete minimum of 40 hours community service*
January 15, 2024 - Deadline to complete all 80 hours of community service.
*Note: it is HIGHLY recommended students complete 80 hours of community service prior to mid-August; however, 40 is the minimum requirement.
