All students who met the 2/1 ACCE Scholarship deadline AND the 2/15 FAFSA deadline will receive an email offering them the opportunity to participate in the ACCE Scholarship Program (parents will be copied onto this email)
ALL OFFERS ARE CONTINGENT UPON END OF YEAR GRADES
Mrs. Webster will send final high school transcripts to NRCC in June
Student must either accept or decline the ACCE Scholarship Opportunity by 4/10 - follow the steps in the email you received on 4/1
ACCEPTANCE IS NOT BINDING
If students are still in their decision-making process and/or haven't received financial aid awards from four-year universities, we recommend that students accept ACCE funding
Students WILL NOT be penalized if they accept ACCE funding by the 4/10 deadline and later notify NRCC that they no longer plan to participate
Advisors from NRCC will be at BHS on the above dates to help Future NRCC students register for Fall Classes
Mrs. Webster will notify students of their meeting date and time
At this meeting, students will receive information about next steps and the required NRCC Summer Orientation
Community Engagement Meeting at BHS (date TBD): Community Engagement must be served at a non-profit approved location as assigned by Montgomery County's Community Engagement Coordinator, Karen Anders: andersk@montgomerycountyva.gov
If students do not get registered for fall classes at BHS on one of the above dates, they must be registered for fall classes by 6/1 to remain eligible for the ACCE program
