3. Enter your NRCC Username (this is the first part of your NRCC email address) - if you do not know your username, click "Forgot Username" or ask Mrs.

5. Choose your preferred password reset method from the available options and follow the instructions
You may have a parent phone number listed - carefully review all information and update as needed.
Go to www.nr.edu and log-in to your account
Click on "SIS"
Select the "Profile" section listing your name
Click on "Contact Details" on the left side of the page
Click on each section and make updates as needed

MFA adds an extra layer of security for your online accounts by requiring you to verify your identity. After logging in to a system with your username and password, you'll be prompted to confirm your identity a second time using a physical device in your possession (like a smartphone or token) that's been attached to your account.
NOTE: You cannot access this email until you are registered for fall courses. Upon course registration, this is the ONLY EMAIL ADDRESS that NRCC will use to communicate information.

-Begin checking your NRCC email REGULARLY after you are registered for fall courses.
-Add your NRCC email account to your phone - it is a “gmail account”
Navigate allows you to schedule an appointment with your advisor directly from the app.
All students need a New River Community College student ID card.

4. Look at the "Action Items & Messages" section at the top
If there are "To Do Items" in this section, you MUST click on each item and submit the required documentation before you are able to access your financial aid award - check back regularly for updates
ACCE recipients will have a deadline to submit all "To Do Items" for continued eligibility
5. If nothing is listed in the "Action Items & Messages Section", click on the "Financial Aid" section (under "Tuition & Payments")
5. An award summary will appear with the Aid year in the top left corner
To view different Aid years, click on the "Change" button
6. Click each Aid type then select "General" for terms and conditions
