Four year institutions will require official NRCC transcripts to award college credit.  New River Community College has partnered with Parchment to manage the ordering, processing, and secure delivery of your official transcripts in an electronic paper format.  


How to request your OFFICIAL NRCC Transcript:

1.  Go to the NRCC Admissions website:   https://www.nr.edu/admissions/ 

2.  Scroll down and you will see the Transcript Request Instructions on the right hand side of the page

3.  Follow all instructions on the website to create a Parchment account (there is a fee)

4.  You do not need access to your NRCC accounts to order transcripts and set up a Parchment account, but you do need your NRCC Student ID Number


If you do not know your NRCC student ID number, you can either call admissions to request this information (540-674-3603), or ask Mrs. Webster (marywebster@mcps.org


How to access your UNOFFICIAL NRCC Transcript:

1.  Go to: www.nr.edu and click the red “My Accounts” button 

2.  Login with your NRCC Username & Password 

3.  Click on the “SIS” icon

4.  Click “My Student Information System” 

5.  Click “Academic Records”

6.  Click “View Unofficial Transcript”

7.  Follow the instructions to view/print unofficial transcript


How to RESET YOUR PASSWORD to gain access to NRCC accounts:

1.  Go to: www.nr.edu 

2.  Click on the red “My Accounts” button

3.  Enter your NRCC Username - this is the first part of your NRCC email address

4.  If you do not know your NRCC username, you can either click "Forgot Username" or ask Mrs. Webster (marywebster@mcps.org)

5.  After entering your NRCC username, click "Go" and then click on “Forgot Password”

6.  A code will be sent either to an alternate email address or a phone number on file

7.  Enter the code you received (by email or text) and follow the password reset instructions
