Local Graduation Requirements for Students Entering 9^th Grade in 2015-2016 and beyond: Middlesex County Public Schools encourages students to gain experiences which will help them through their post-secondary transitions. Students seeking an advanced or standard diploma from Middlesex High School must successfully complete one or more of the following course requirements, sequences, or experiences:

1. Participation in a Regional Program
  - Chesapeake Bay Governor’s School
  - Bridging Communities Governor’s STEM Academy
  - RCC Workforce Development
2. Participation in a work-based learning experience
  - Internship
  - Work Co-op
  - Service Learning
  - Job Shadowing
3. Participation in a CTE career program
  - Teachers for Tomorrow
  - Carpentry
4. Completing career pathway enhancing course(s)
  - Any two AP or DE courses
  - Entrepreneurship
  - CTE Completer
