This is a reminder that the 2026 SUN Bucks eligibility period ends August 31, 2026.
LEAs should continue processing and submitting eligible Supplemental SUN Bucks Collection (SSBC) records to the Education Data Collection System (EDCS), including qualifying:
Universal Benefits Applications (UBAs)
National School Lunch Program (NSLP) applications
Local direct certification records
Extended benefits
Please process any applications received through August 31, 2026 as promptly as possible and review your EDCS submissions for completeness and accuracy.
The final deadline to submit 2026 SUN Bucks SSBC records to EDCS is September 30, 2026, at 5:00 p.m.
We strongly encourage LEAs not to wait until the final deadline to submit or correct records. Timely and accurate reporting helps to ensure that eligible students receive their SUN Bucks benefits.
