Senator Jack Williams was elected to the Alabama Senate on November 6, 2018, after serving one term in the Alabama House of Representatives.
He was born in Mobile County in 1955, raised on the family farm, has lived his entire life in District 102, and graduated from Mary G. Montgomery High School.
Senator Williams has been married to his wife, Bobbie, for 40 years, and together, they own and operate the J Bar W farm, where they raise cattle, timber, and hay. They actively support 4-H.
In 1986, Senator Williams started Twin Oaks Nursery in Wilmer and, in 2004, purchased Tom Dodd Nurseries in Semmes. His son, John, now owns and operates those businesses.
Senator Williams and his wife are members of Wilmer Baptist Church.
